As big Lladro collectors, my partner and I visited for his birthday last Monday. So inspiring to see how the porcelain is moulded and decorated by very talented people. Beautiful showroom plus an outlet where cheaper 'seconds' can be purchased. Loved it even though we spent too much money! Our pieces had to be shipped as they were too large... More

We visited Lladro factory by directly writing to them and it's free. They gave us a very well organized tour of their factory and how the ceramic is used in their manufacturing. It was eye opening as we never expected it involves such intricate work. It was time well spent and we gained lots of insights on their manufacturing process.

Lovely pieces. Beautiful showroom. This showroom I visited was not part of the factory itself. Pieces sold were in perfect condition and at the same prices as in town.

My husband and I visited the Lladro Museum just north of Valencia yesterday. We booked the tour online directly through the Lladro website for no charge. We booked in June. It was a wonderful tour, well organized and very informative. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Although they have a store, there is no pressure to purchase anything. What a... More

You can shop at seconds store at a discount. One more motivation for you to take the effort of reaching Llardo factory. What a pity that this is not on the 'must-do' list of many tourists to Valencia

Our visit to the Lladro Factory was booked through our nearby hotel. Our tour included several buses of tourists who had no trouble finding the factory. We drove around totally lost for 30 minutes, despite hotel directions. A few signs in the town would help to direct visitors. Once inside we joined our tour. Many visitors are not familiar with... We were in a rental car across Spain and this pace was an adventure to locate. I believe it is better by public transport but in either case make sure you have your bearings right. Once we got there it was great, we did not do the factory visit but the store was a treat for the eyes and wallet.

The World Famous porcelain figurines are magnificent, they show you how they are made, you get to see the "masters" at work making and painting these beautiful pieces. Also they have the prices of some of the creations €160,000 that is not a misprint!

We had pre-booked this on-line for our party - easy website and some choice of languages. Took a taxi after lunch in Valencia (see separate review of El Forcat), arriving with just a couple of minutes to spare, which was just as well as the hostess arrived bang on time at the reception room, and escorted us off to the... Worth a visit even if you are not into Lladro. The work that goes into each piece is unbelievable. At the end you are taken into the shop but do ask for the outlet where items are 50% cheaper but you do have to ask as this is not pointed out.
