Situated in a side street but in the centre of the city, the entrance is relatively small and unpretentious, but as soon as you get in you realise that this is a place full of tradition and one of the historic centres of the incredible 'pelota valenciana' which dates back to the late 1880's.

This was a really interesting visit - a game I have never heard of but really fascinating mix of speed, agility, skill, bravery (the ball is hard!), and in quite an unusual setting. and unique I think to the area. And there is a bar, very friendly crowd.

Matches held on Thursday and Saturday afternoon for less than $20 euros per person. The game is really easy to understand and follow, it is fast and fun but the main pull... More

This place is definitely worth a visit! Some Valencian friends told me about this game, "pilota valenciana", and I decided to go and watch a game on a Saturday afternoon. I was completely impressed, this is an amazing sport and there's a great atmosphere in this place! If you want to live a different and thrilling sport experience this is... More

Went there with local friends and enjoyed the game and the bets. Being seated inside the 19th century pitch where players hit the small ball with their hands so close to you, the speed of the ball and how spectators live it, is exciting. Tried to understand all the rules, but was quite dificult being inside while they were playing.... More
