This bullring is the famous Running of the Bulls end point for the Festival of San Fermín. I honestly had no real knowledge of bullfighting and so reading all of the signage was really nice.
We had 2pm tickets but got there just a smidgen after 1:30pm and since that group wasn't full, we were able to join that one. Everyone gets audio guides (Spanish, Basque, Catalan, English, French, Dutch, German, Portugese, Italian, Russian, Chinese & Japanese) and go at your own speed - it def. helps keep the number of people in one area of the bullring down. If you want to do a guided tour in Spanish, it's at 12, 13 (1pm), 17 (5pm) and 18 (6pm). Apparently if you want a tour in Basque, French, English or German, you can arrange it on the day.
The pricing is very reasonable, considering it's a major attraction. We spent about 45 minutes here but we also had almost 2 year old twins in a stroller who were starting to get cranky in the sun and wanted a nap. We would have stayed longer if we could have - my husband and I were chatting about what all we saw after we left because it was so interesting and informative.
They have a fake bull you can wheel around, like it's charging someone, in the bullring and my husband got a kick out of playing with it with our kids. It was cool to walk the actual building and see the little areas where people would jump in to get away from the bull's horns.

The staff was extremely helpful. There were audio guides (available in many languages) included in the price of admission. The place was dripping with tradition and culture. It was very language accesible with signs in many languages as well.

Not bull fighting fans but this was a very informative tour with a hand held audio taking you around key points. Got a real feel for the history of the festival.

The bullring of Pamplona is the bullfighting arena designed in the year 1920 in the Segundo Ensanche of Pamplona to celebrate bullfighting. It has a capacity of around 19,720 spectators, after the last renovation to comply with safety standards, which makes it the largest arena in Navarra and one of the largest in the world in terms of capacity, after the bullrings in Mexico City. , Valencia , Tijuana or Madrid , with a slightly higher capacity than Barcelona . It is known worldwide for the bullfights at the San Fermín Fair, which are held annually between the 7th and 14th of July. It is currently also used for concerts and concerts. Since its construction, it has been owned by the Casa de Misericórdia de Pamplona, which in turn manages its use and the shows that take place there.

We debated whether or not to go in to the bullring as we were a bit tight on time, but were very glad we did. Really affordable and includes an audio guide. The woman working at the entrance was very nice and helpful.

Not many visitors in October. Practically had the whole place to ourselves. 6€ is fair price to pay for entry which includes a very informative audio guide. An excellent and intense video introduction sets the tone before seeing the rest of the place and exhibits. Whether one agrees or not with the concept of this sport, it is something quintessentially Spanish, fiercely passionate and can certainly be considered an art form. This is the consistent messaging coming from the various short films screened along the way. Architecturally quite stunning. Small gift shop with nice related souvenirs. Allow at least 60 minutes.

During my stay in Pamplona, I must have passed the bullring 15 times! It really looks nice and I considered taking the tour of the inside, but didn't. I did walk around it and got the pictures on the outside.

Pamplona, Spain30 contributions
Hello: the guided tour is closed to the public until after the week of Sanfermin. The bullring is currently preparing for a music concert and then the bulls arrive.
At the end of July they reopen.
