After a long car journey it was a pleasant walk to investigate the old fortress and walls of Pamplona. You can actually walk the whole way around as well as investigate the buildings inside the walls. Well worth a little look.

I actually arrived in Pamplona not knowing this was here. (I am not one for guidebooks). Just an amazing place to wander about. What a beautiful place in an enchanting city.

Great resource for morning jog, sight seeing, short cuts around the city, and just plain regal. The old fortifications are worth a visit.

Best way to enjoy the medieval walls is to stop for a drink at the Mesón del Caballo Blanco in the north east corner of the old city

Interesting place to stroll and see a well-preserved object being a candidate for a prestigious UNESCO WH List.

If you are walking into the City (Camino) then follow the wals to the main gate which will take you into the heart of the old town - this way you get a better feel for the place.
