The Murcian Craft Centre is located right in the centre of the city, next to the gardens called Jardin del Salitre, or sometimes known as Jardin de la Polvora, It is managed by the General Department of Crafts and Commerce and in it you will be able to: Get to know and to buy any article produced by the craftsmen officially listed in the Region of Murcia's Register of Craftsmen

Can throughly recommend this place for beautiful artefacts and presents locally made
We bought shoes,presents and wine from Antonio whose English was excellent and he explained everything about the shop,the artists and the aim to promote artists work through the centre
Well worth a visit but take your Euros!as you wont know what not to buy

The Spanish people are so creative. This market sells everything from local artist ranging from jewelry to kitchen ceramics. If you are lucky enough to be there during the Christmas Holiday the same artists sell near the cathedral. Hours at the store vary. They close during the midday dinner so call ahead. If you are in Murcia don't miss this.
