Not really a summer attraction and more of a December attraction. Building is nice to look at and maybe take the odd photo. This building does have some interesting architecture to veiw and is 18th century. Close to the Cathedral area. Also close to tourist office where you can pick up a free tourist map of Murcia. This is the venue for Murcia's Belen,( A Spanish Nativity scene) which takes up the whole courtyard. This word means Bethlehem, since a Spanish Christmas nativity scene includes the entire town of Bethlehem and not just the Stable/crib. It is well worth seeing if you are in the area around the cathedral.

Yes you must see the buildings around Murcia, the planted gardens all around these buildings are wonderful with all the poinsettias taking over the bedded areas. The architecture is stunning. There really is real history in this city.

Situated in the same Plaza as the Catedral de Murcia, this very pretty and ornate looking building is definitely one to take a few pictures, you can go inside to a small square within the building which was really beautiful too.

The exterior of the building is great to look at, but I found the fact that the external decoration looks more like they have been plastered over rather than kept up disappointing. Didn't get to see the inside as it closed just as we got there, that was our fault though as we know things shut between 2 & 5... More

This building is in front of the wonderful Cathedral. I do not like the restoration made some years ago.

We were just walking around and sightseeing, in this place there is Cathedral near by - which looks better than this buiding. But it's still "on the way" when you're walking, so there's no chance to miss it :) Maybe inside there is smth interesting, but I havent been there inside.
