This is one of the most attractive and impressive buildings on the waterfront. It looks as though they do tours sometimes, and I say that simply because there were signs in the lobby saying “no tours today”.
The Tourist Information Centre can also be found in this building, albeit via another door at the corner of the building,ie towards the harbour.

A beautiful building that only can be admired at the outside. The tourist board has to provide possibilities for visits inside.

The facade is white marble and intricately designed. One can take an interior tour to see the tapestries with an English speaking guide. The interior isn't necessary, but it's nice to sit outside and just gaze at the building, perhaps with a cup of coffee in hand.

Our guide took us here on our tour of Cartegena. Really fantastic architecture and buildings. A truly stunning place.

I love the architecture in Cartagena, it's great that the community has kept the beautiful buildings, such as this one, instead of knocking them down to replace them with ugly high rises.

At the side of the town hall is the tourist information centre, they are most helpful. But if you go in the front door, there are tours offered for €1 per person to see the offices of the mayor.
We didn’t have time so it was free entry to see some of the side rooms and enjoy the exquisite interiors on the ground floor.
Well worth a trip but only open 10am until 1.30pm or from after 4 or 5pm.

Great area, superb architecture! The sidewalk outside is amazing - so smooth. Nice little area for sight seeing. We didn't go inside the building but rested outside of it to enjoy the area and do some people watching.

Government building with the offices of the mayor inside. The building is surrounded by nice paving and flowers and is a nice backdrop when your having a glass of wine or two at one of the restaurants around it.

..... as much for the space in which it is majestically located so affording one to see all aspects of the building from a range of vantage points.
Plenty of places around and about where you can get a drink or bite to eat and continue to bask in the glow of this wonderful edifice.
Perhaps all the more impressive since Cartagena isn't abundantly awash with such.
Externally viewing FREE so do take the opportunity to take it in even in passing alone.

City Hall with a wow factor both externally and internally. Well worth visiting. Entrance hugely impressive with steps , columns and a dome !!

The cost displayed is £158.53, similarly the price of a Roman Walking tour, and other tours, one 'shore excursion' listed as £363.68 ..Can these ludicrous prices be correct?! I doubt it but there are many on this site.
