The Statue of Apollo is found on the Paseo del Prado. However it is not easily seen and does not stand out because this street has a lot of traffic. The statue is very beautiful and visitors should look for it.

This two-centuries old statue serves also as a fountain, and a beautiful one, too. As it was partially being restored during our visit, it was not possible to enjoy it in all its glory.

This beautiful 200 year old statue of Apollo and fountain as you proceed down the Paseo de Prado on the way to the museum or the Retiro. So much beauty to elevate the conscious, I am truly envious.

The statue of Apollo is part of a sculptural group. The designer of this sculpture was Ventura Rodriguez, a wonderful architect and artist. We always pass this statue when we walk from the Prado.

The statue of Apollo is actually a fountain but is currently cordoned off for repairs, it's a shame I missed it before this started.
