We walked by the church of San Jose today and it is a lovely one to admire and take in. The detailing and colour of the building are very unique. Didn't have time to pop in but the church itself is definitely one to see.

The Church of San Jose is located on a very street, Calle de Alcala. We enjoy visiting this church because it has important art. There is an important sculpture of the Crucified Christ by Alonso de Mena and a San Jose by Luis Salvador Carmona.

Attended the mass on Sunday and stayed to admire the beautiful artifacts and the majesty of the cathedral. The architecture and roof detail is awe inspiring. The paintings are calming. Great experience. I took many pictures giving awesome memories.

While the church's façade is not that impressive, its interiors are of a lovely Baroque and Neo-Classical styles. The acoustics in the church is absolutely wonderful, as it is almost totally soundproof to the noises from the busy street outside. Don't miss the lovely Virgen...More

Calle Alcala is a very busy street and this church is located on it, but very few tourists enter the church, which is a mistake because it is a very interesting church inside, with good architecture and art.

Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
