From 6 artist on stage: Two dancers with a singer, a guitarrist, percussion and a violin or flute. Since its beginnings, Flamenco has evolved in hidden places. It is danced and sung in private, in the presence of a select group of friends, without any amplification. Often, a brick cellar would be chosen, due to its wonderful acoustics. This is the authentic, unvarnished performance that we seek to recreate: a man and a woman dancing, a singer, a guitarist, a violin and percussion, sounds and shadows on ancient brick-lined cellar walls, all in a show lasting one hour. Welcome to Essential Flamenco.

Hello Pawel: You wrote "The dancers put their heart into it". That´s exactly the essence of flamenco, and I will say of any art worthy of the name. Thank you for your sensitive review.

The brick vaulted cellar and the intimate sounds of the music with up close and personal views of the flamenco dancers- stunning is all I can say. We brought our 8 year old to the early show and he loved it too! Well worth it!More

Our group had a great time taking in Flamenco with an authentic edge. It was a bit like a Fringe show, anything but tourist tacky. The performers were all so enthusiastic, definitely worth your time.More
