A beautiful place to visit with the green areas nearby as well as Rio 2 shopping centre. Worth to visit.

Well worth a visit at any time of day. If you are interested in history and architecture earlier in the day will give you best access but later in the afternoon there is a great atmosphere with buskers, music and crowds of people. Take time...More

Just down the road from the Holiday Inn it was a pleasant walk to the bridge with a view of the landscaping below and a welcome beer on the other side

A splendid and probably the only bridge with a historical value, with a metro stop at the west bank of the Manzanares river. I would recommend seeing it, and taking a stroll along the river, as the Madrilenos do. Certainly worth it.

Toledo is a must see if you’re visiting Madrid and the bridge is one of the most beautiful places there. Could be very hot so best to come on afternoon.

It’s a pretty to walk across and spend some time seeing as you get to see the Madrid Rio as well! It can get hot as there is no shade so beware if you go on hot day. Worth the visit.

One the most romantic parts of the city. Lots of couples walking hand in hand here , no safety issues at all and very clean

Take a half a day trip to Toledo. It is enchanting and learn about the great old city which would have been the country's Capital. The view from top is amazing.

The bridge is very nice and offers a nice stroll in the city, far away from tourists, but I don’t recommend it unless you have a lot of days in madrid and want to see EVERY corner as I did

As far as I am aware there are no special events that take place on the bridge, but its popularity and that of the neighbouring parks suggest it may be quieter during a weekday than a weekend.
