This is a very unremarkable square which is undergoing a lot of road works at the moment. It's not somewhere you would necessarily come as a tourist but it does have an amazing and very busy haberdashery and an excellent coffee shop.

This is a small square near to Puerta del Sol. There are some shops and restaurants here but the area was rather dirty and not maintained.

Plaza de Pontejos is a rather small square, but it has very little of note to offer. It is located in central Madrid, near other famous squares, such as Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. We only passed by here as we made our way to another sight. We stopped for a short time, but could not recommend it. There are some shops around, but if you want something really exciting and interesting, then forget this one.

What a shame to see this lovely small space in the heart of Madrid (just a few steps from Plaza Sol) in such a derelict condition. Broken bottles, trash and general neglect seem to be the order of the day. This could easily be elevated into a much more vibrant element of the city's fabric with minimal attention.

Is really an attraction...!!! I would t miss it for the world... they way they handle the business is like when I used to go with my grandma to search for that special something she could never find anywhere else but here to finish a dress or whatever she was doing! Is like an adventure back in time! Although it looks crowded, their system still works great and you are out of there with everything (or more) than you need!! I love it!!
