Since this beautiful fountain is in the middle of a large and busy roundabout, you have to time it just right to get a good photo. Right outside the Palacio de Cibeles, shops, and Retiro park.

Just breathtaking. The plaza is really wonderful at night. Especially when you come out of the underground and you are greeted with the massive architecture and the fountain.

the statue in front of the Palacio de Cibeles makes for a great photo opportunity, you do have to time it so the cars in the roundabout clear out of your picture. Also a great place to people watch. However, it is very busy here,...More

Cibeles Fountain is the centerpiece of the square amid a very busy intersection. At night the lights are lovely and the building on each corner are grand. Cross the streets only at the designated pedestrian crossings as the drivers seem to see right through people!

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses

Hi, it is called Restaurante Palacio de Cibeles and is located on the 6th floor. There is a beautiful terrace with a view on Madrid. The restaurant is linked with the famous Adolfo Restaurant in Toledo, owned by Adolfo Munoz.
