Best day tour is to Segovia, Avila and La Granja from Madrid. The Alcalzar, cathedral are aquaducts in Segovia are spectacular, the anxient walls and cathedral if Avila superlative and the beautiful Royal Palace of La Granja...alot to see in one day. Fabulous trip!
