We had delicious and plenty tapas for dinner, with good wine (wither and red). It is impossible not to find tapas that you like when you try many. Service was very good. The place is very well known. But the best of the best in...More

This was the first flamenco performance I’ve ever attended so I’m not sure how I should rank it, but it was certainly enjoyable. Since this was our first time to visit Spain, we wanted to take in as much of the local tradition as possible....More

I have been to Casa Patas several times. The food is good but it is the show that I go for. Always the best current Flamenco artists. I wish I lived in Madrid so I could go at least once a month to see all...More

Since this is the topic for the show, we will not review the restaurant (we have a seperate review for it). It was amazing, we felt goose bumps because flamenco is such a powerful form of music/dance. It was for the first time we saw...More

Went at this place during a conference and it’s including a flamenco school. So we first learned some basics on flamenco and then had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. Staff was really attentive and friendly and food was really good. Will definitely come back...More

I've been watching Flamenco, mainly in Madrid and Andalucia for more than 10 years now. It varies massively in quality, authenticity and atmosphere. If you're going to do Flamenco in Madrid then either go here or go to Cardamomo, both excellent, authentic Flamenco bars. Don't...More

I want to keep this a secret. We wanted authentic flamenco and happened upon a shoemaker who was working on flamenco shoes - he gave us Casa Patas. Performance was luminous. Amazing.

In my opinion this is the best place in Madrid to see live real flamenco with the minimum tourism concession to the spirit of this art. Guitarists, singers, dancers are all truly genuine and it is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended

My husband and I were electrified by the flamenco we saw here. The performers were fantastic and were clearly enjoying themselves, which made the audience experience even better. The environment is great- the room where the performances are is small and cozy- and has a...More

We booked relatively last minute, so we were seated in the back, but the venue is small. The show was incredible, one of my favorite experiences from the whole vacation! Great sangria and tapas, which you can eat/drink while watching the show.

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once
home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de
Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The
neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich
heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes
from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to
them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas
receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —
