As far as Royal palaces this is as good as most in Euope but for one thing. The Armory is absolutely amazing. You will be blown away as soon as you walk in. One of the real surprises of my trip to Madrid

A don't-miss experience when visiting Madrid. The rooms are spectacular - unfortunately you can't take photographs, other than the staircase at the entrance. We were on a tour so were able to learn so much.

It is sad too see a building that most have looked amazing - for many years ago. It looks like something who needs to be demolished and rebuild...!!! Else a very big renovation is highly recommended. Hope that Spain would prioritise this, even though the...More

Sumptuous interiors well worth a look. Be prepared for queues at weekends to get in though, if tickets not pre-ordered.

We went to visit this attraction and discovered that if we went after 16.00 hours, we could obtain a concession admission (free - if you present an ID Card or Passport). When we arrived at 16.00 we realised that this was a popular option, due...More

This is a must see in Madrid. We have been to many palaces and churches but this may be the best. Would suggest getting a guided tour. It was only ten euros and well worth it. While you only see twenty of the palaces two...More

Went here in a Sunday. Big place with beautiful rooms. The armory museum was beautiful. Some of the finest pieces I have seen. Unfortunately opening times are different starting October we were to late for the temporary exposition which I would like to visit.

With furnishings and décor typical of many of the Grand Palaces of Europe, the tour offers little that is unique to the Palace Real. But is well worth entrance money and the short queue to get in. For me, the wall hangings and ceiling paintings...More

We visited the Royal Palace on 20th October. I was blown away by the size and grandure of the building. We had the audio tour which is a must. The cost for both myself and my husband was €26 which I think was good value...More
