Amazing church building in the middle of this town...

We had a breakfast stop in this town, and took a hour to visit the 4 important churches in the centre. We were alone in this one and it was amazing and a very humbling experience.

As many other cathedrals in Spain, this is just amazing for its monumentally and beauty. Incredibly enough, you will find a gem in its interior: a small Michelangelo painting, hidden behind the altar. Unmissable!

Important church on the route of St James, in the center of the city. Very unusual western facade, with a niche richly ornamented and twin bell-towers, also interesting northern and southern portals. Interior in barroque style, interesting but could have been more elaborate and stunning for such an important cathedral...

Lovely church, worth a visit, and free like most attractions in Logrono. Relic case is on left side aisle, lower part of the case. Beautiful historic church.

You cannot miss this when in Logrono. Whether you go to mass or not you must go inside and get the tour. A plus is to sit in the plaza outside and watch as the sun lights up the towers at different times. All the action is within walking distance from this Cathedral.

Breath taking church! Looks as the town was built around it! The organ inside is amazing! One of the prettiest churches I ever have seen!

We were staying just around the corner so stumbled across this church rather than planning a visit but we were glad we took the time. Externally it is an impressive scale that dominated the surrounding historic square that is lined with restaurants and bars. Internally it is an impressive mix of gothic stonework and elaborate alters and stained Windows. An... More

Beautiful construction, the artwork on the building is great. I love.these old structures. To have witnessed the craftsmen at work would have been great. I have always been amazed at the golden back grounds. I was able to touch it here and discovered it's plastic.

The entrance is very fine, but as with many Spanish cathedrals, the altarpiece is the main feature. In structure, the cathedral is Gothic, with impressive twin towers.
