We stopped by for a tasting, and although they don’t do formal tastings for walk-ins, we were just as happy ordering a couple glasses of their wine and sitting on the patio. Augustin was an excellent host with a lot of information. Definitely recommend their...More

This is a must visit in Haro. Lots of history and interesting architecture. The Zaha Hadid structure was designed to protect an old stand inside. Very interesting. Wine is also very good.

I had gone through the official tour a few years back and on my second trip to Haro I decided to just go to the tasting room. I truthfully enjoyed myself this trip far better than I did when I took the official tour. You...More

If you're cruising through La Rioja wine region and only have time to visit one place, you should stop at Lopez de Heredia. It's located in the quaint little town of Haro and is the oldest in Haro. It's family owned and operated, which add...More

A old bodega that are true to its own vales creating a unique world class wine. We had the opportunity to make a tour which was the highlight during our staying.

Prior to our tour, this Bodegas was recommended to me by a wine-maker friend who had recently visited Rioja. Coincidentally, the day before we had dined at a Relais & Chateaux property and their sommelier suggested a wine from here for our meal that was...More

We did not do an actual tour but stopped and tasted some wine whilst sitting in comfy chairs in the sunshine. The wine was lovely, reasonable priced and staff very friendly

We arrived at Tondonia to do a quick tasting (did not join the tour). Outside on the premises next to the carpark is a modern building. In the building you can find the old style wooden pub. Very charming. Here you order your tasting flight....More

Really enjoyed sitting on the terrace - nice lounge chairs and umbrellas, very comfortable environment to enjoy a few glasses of wine. Not a huge selection, but the wines are good, reasonably priced, and the wait staff were personable.

I have been a fan of Viña Tondonia for many years. Curious of what makes this wine so special I visited the bodega and I was not disappointed. The group was small and the guide was very knowledgeable which contributed to a very worthwhile visit....More

We went the last week in June for the wine festival of Haro, and I would recommend anytime other than that. It was interesting but mostly for the 16-24 yr olds.

They take place most days, You need to book in advance which you can do on their web site. I think it cost 12 Euros (could be wrong) but each person gets a bottle or Reserva Rioja to take away.

I don't think they offer private tours but you can ask when you make your reservations. There is no restaurant on site but there are some not far away and in the "horse shoe". Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.
