The start is not well sign posted - along with lots of sites on the Rock! Steps are not really a fair description of this route. There are some steps and some rocky rubble. I am a very fit 60 years old and the route...More

Another intersting walk on the rock. Accessed from Jews gate but only goes to a dead end now and you have to do a return journey back to Jews Gate. It appears the old path which probably went thorugh the rock has been bricked up....More

If you love photography and don't mind a two hour walk this is highly recommended. It is very steep and not for the faint hearted. You don't have to take a taxi, and the entry fee is around £5

This is one very difficult climb up, but easier down the other side and brings you out by the apes and the skywalk. You don't really need to take a taxi, if you like walking, just head for the Jewish Cemetery and you will see...More

This hike is strenuous and provides views of the area and ocean that are outstanding. There is an alternative route for non hikers.

An amazing walk down the side of the rock but very steep and no rails. Not recommended for small children or older people who are not steady

Many amazing views but there are also some dangerous narrow steps with no hand rail. Wouldn’t recommend going when it’s windy. £5 per person including access to other parts of the nature reserve. For me, it’s the best thing to do in Gibraltar and a...More

The steps are not accompanied by a hand rail half the time so if you have a strong fear of falling it isn’t for you. It can be dangerous at some parts but if you have some experience or you are moderately fit it’s not...More

This hike is spectacular. Superb views, all the way to Africa. Beautiful shrubs, trees and flowers all around. Interesting military installations, tunnels and caves. A real sense of achievement when you get to the top. Unless you have a really bad problem with heights its...More

This is definitely not a walk in the park but still highly recommended. You get to climb around and up (and up and up!) the very southern tip of the rock. The views towards Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Gibraltar coast are amazing. Along the...More

Yes you cam take dogs on the Med Steps but it's not recommended as you might bump into some macaques and the monkeys like to attack dogs. So better to go without a dog.
