This tower is very popular with tourists and is extremely busy. From the car park there is a walk uphill of around twenty minutes, not very good if you are unfit or have health problems, however the views across the bay are stunning.

An amazing historic Icon of Coruna still in use today. To see the work that has been done in order to keep this icon from deteriorating and lost is a worthwhile visit and the history that accompanies it is great reading.

The tower in itself is beautiful and the views from here are just impressive, you feel all the raw power of nature. It's fantastic to go for walks, breath the fresh air and enjoy the amazing scenery.

We didn't have time to go inside, but still interesting from outside. It is set on headland with great views over the lovely coastline. There are clean toilets at base of tower. Even if you have mobility issues and cannot manage to walk up path...More

Super interesting Roman era tower with a view of the original foundations at the base. The climb is not too hard with several floors you can stop on to rest if you need it. Great views from the top.

Roman lighthouse which is still functioning, set on a beautiful headland at one end of La Coruna. Well worth the walk up the cobbled pathway to view both the lighthouse itself and the stunning views along the coast in all directions. Small informative visitor centre...More

This is a fascinating feature in La Coruna. The Roman lighthouse is the oldest functioning maritime beacon in the world, and while it has been modernised it still had its original Roman feel. It is a must see, though those with mobility issues may prefer...More

Stroll through the great sculpture gardens along the coast and end up here, The waves, colors of land and sea and sky are pretty dang epic. More than a mere tower, it's also a museum and thus far more interesting to any students of history....More

That would be quite a hike. Don't know the exact distance but I would guess it would be about around two miles. Having said that, you would be walking along the coast which is quite stunning. Taxis are cheap, though
