This is the most interesting site to visit. There is quite a wealth of information in the shape of boards. A good lesson in history of development of fortifications, weapons and tactics.

We visited the place by night .. its very nicely lighted.. and the best suggestion- take a kayak and do the tour in the canal.. water is clear, you can see fishes as well and it's a nice start for an autumn morning

The fortress is quite enormous, probably in line with those in Malaga Spain. It is extremely well preserved and quite interesting. If you enter in on one side you can exit the opposite and complete a loop of the downtown and fortress. After walking it...More

We saw this fort by night. The lighting was very effective. It is massive and has been very well restored.

We were really lucky that they were open on New year's Day, just about the only thing that was! The moat even has water in it. I advise going at sunset; really atmospheric.

This is the most obvious must see in a very special off the beat and track city of Cueta. With the moat, huge harbour in the back ground, high walls, cannon turrets, stone walls, all free to walk around with excellent signage and information boards,...More

A lovely place to wander around for a hour or so and get a real feel for its history. Some great photo moments and views for miles. You could even see Gibraltar in the distance. Really a beautiful place to visit whilst in Ceuta.

Very cool place, beautiful view(s) of Ceuta and the Rock of Gibraltar. A lot of history going on there as well, so you can learn a lot about how Ceuta was formed/established, and how it was defended using this 'castle'

Puede ir sin ningún problema. No hay ascensor, pero no es necesario, apenas hay que subir escalones y hay rampas de acceso. Un saludo y disfrútelo.
