The aqueduct is awesome. Truly a marvel. The size is overwhelming, walking across the top was pretty scary as it's so high. So glad I made the effort. I visited at 9am and was the only tourist there in mid July 2017. Got fantastic, uninterrupted...More

Don't be put off by having to venture out of the city centre to see this bridge - it's amazing! You can get the 85 or 5 bus from the main roundabout on Rambla Nova which weirdly drops you off on the motorway! Turn around...More

As others have said the bus 85 or 5 is the route there (and back). We were there yesterday in high season: no tour as the guide was sick (which we only found out by ringing once there) and the restaurant shut (no reason why...More

Considering the amount of detail materials time and work, this is another must see. You can park and walk through the park which leads up to the structure climb to the top, and actually walk through the water channel on the other side of the...More

Don't hesitate to explore it a bit more than just to have a quick look. Cross it, go down the slopes to see from below. Nice views and small surprises guaranteed (small cave, snake, lizards).

Two buses leave from the main circle on the rambla. The buses are super easy and go straight to the sight for €1.50. You can walk across the actual structure which makes it incredibly cool. It is also not incredibly busy so you can get...More

There are so many magnificent examples of Roman ruins in Tarragona and aqueducts are found in many places. I only viewed the aqueduct from a distance. All the trips out into the countryside are great and Tarragona has so... More

About 250 m long. It's very narrow so don't count on it! Also to be noted: Especially the path at the north end will be difficult to climb with strollers! I would leave the strollers in the car or on the bottom of the valley... More
