What's especially nice about this amphiteatre is it's location right by the sea. It hosted a Pagan temple, a Roman Christian church, then a Visigoth Christian church and then another medieval church, all of the ruins traceable on the site of the amphiteatre, where you...More

This is a small site with little interpretation of what exists at the site and apart from staff at the ticket office there were no other staff. The ticket office was cash only! Possibly the only place that's cash only in Spain!

Good setting by the sea and well preserved roman ruin in town full of roman ruins. Worth a visit and if interested in such things buy the 4 museum ticket so you can go on the town walls and other sights.

Only 3.30 in and is very interesting. Not that big but good experience. Bit of a sun trap and gets very warm walking around. If In Tarragona it's well worth a visit. Bout 20 minute walk from bus station.
