I chose to tour the museum when my group went hiking. It is a fine museum with several works from master artists including Renois, Monet, Miro, and Picasso. Nice for the location and inexpensive.

So much to see here . Lots of history and and amazing works of art . We could have spent longer but did spend at least an hour here. This whole area is so historic.

There was a free ticket included in our tour for the 15 minute video and the museum. If you have the time, worth a visit.

Make sure you leave some time to take a look at the Museum, which is more of an art gallery. They have some famous artist early paintings, as well as more modern artwork. Worth the time and anyone with mobility issues there is an elevator.

The museum itself was grand over 3 levels and corridor after corridor of great art. Not being much of an art expert I still enjoyed most of the collection especially the one room of ancient paintings and sculptures dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Christ.

We went to the museum first, to get a better understanding of the history associated with the place. It was perfect, not too big or long, just enough.

We visited the Museum as part of a tour with Barcelona Day Tours. We are very glad that we opted to visit the museum during our free time there. Excellent collection of artists, and especially of Catalan artists. Very spacious and well organized. Definitely one of our highest rated museum experiences in Europe.

Something to behold. So many ancient and valuable treasures. You could spend a day in the museum and not want to leave.
