This museum is very cool. It includes a lot of cinema history and displays the various tricks that were used to add special effects or filming techniques to a movie before our current technology. Would have loved to see a modern cinema section though, since...More

Extremely impressive collection of artefacts and a very impressive and well organised exhibition. Ducked inside on a rainy day and spent a good couple of hours there. Wasn't expecting such an enjoyable museum

We got in by chance, just parked next to it and went in without any expectations. The museum is quite complete, especially on the early stages of cinema and has some awesome pieces, true jewels...and some toys children can touch

We visited on a Sunday and got in for free. Very educational and interesting for the children and adults also. If you like movies and want to learn more about camera and film making, really worth a visit.

This museum is great! Very interesting and we spent a lot of time here. Surprisingly we passed only 2 other people while we were in there so maybe people are unaware how good it is, but its definitely worth a visit.

I had nothing better to do and am not a real film buff. But there were isolated instances of real interest in there amongst all the old cameras and other equipment from past days.

This is not to be missed. It is an amazing journey through the development of technology to create moving images. There are brilliant displays of shadow puppetry, zoetropes, magic lanterns, editing machines and cameras. This truly is a hidden gem in the city of Girona.

Don't miss this museum! It tells the story of story-telling via images. It starts with the first play with shadows around the fire in the caves and proceeds to the 21st century. You can experience hands-on the beautiful devices that were used throughout the ages...More

This museum is full of excellent hands-on exhibits that document and explain how film was developed. It focuses on the technical development rather than the artistic development. So, if you are a film buff looking for information about famous actors and films, you may be...More
