The combo ticket with the cathedral included this. As many people have noted, it is very close to the cathedral, and it's worthwhile to make the short walk. I spent about an hour here. Also as noted by many people - get the audioguide, which was helpful. Not very busy. It has simple, beautiful architecture.

Esglesia de Sant Feliu in Llagostera is a medieval marvel. The Gothic architecture and historical aura make it a must-visit. The serene ambiance and intricate details are captivating.

This church seems to be older than the cathedral. If you have a ticket for visiting the cathedral the entrance to this church is also included in the ticket. It is worth to visit this church for the huge altar dedicated to the local Saint of Narcissus.

You can purchase a combo ticket to include the bascila, cathedral and art museum. I enjoyed the cathedral more but it is worth a visit since they are so close together. There is so much history in Girona!

Beautiful multi-styled its light hued stone was shimmering in the morning sunshine

First conceived before the 10th century it was substantially completed during hundreds of years, from the 12th century on.

Hence its variety of styles. Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque. Stepping in is an unforgettable experience. A lovely Rose Window is on high at the rear.

Fabulous arches and soaring columns lead to the fine vaulted ceiling. An altar area that is remarkable holds the attention.

Lovely marble and rich artistic holy images in fresco and sculpture are wonderful.

Just below the Cathedral, on a slope, stands Girona's second largest cathedral, with its remarkable truncated bell tower. The majestic nave is decorated with a Gothic ribbed vault, and in honor of one of the most revered patrons of the city, Saint Narcissus, a huge chapel in the late Baroque style was built of marble and jasper. To the right of the chapel is the Gothic tomb of the saint, built in 1328. It is decorated with a statue of the deceased and scenes from his life.

We enjoyed our visit to two churches in this area- the cathedral and basilica (very close to each other). We were able to purchase a combined ticket to both which also included audio guides. We thought these gave a lot of good background that we otherwise would have missed.

Entrance is at the side on the higher level. We had purchased a combined ticket online with the Art Museum and Cathedral, which we picked up at the Art Museum. We had 48 hours to use it, but it is easy to do all three in one day, with a break for lunch, as they are very close together.

The whole tour takes around 45 minutes as it is the main basilica space with a few chapels off the nave. There is a free audio guide which is easy to use.

Plenty of information about St. Narcissus, and some fascinating Roman sarcophagi carvings. We were pleased we had visited the Art Museum first as it houses the original panels from the altar piece, which was dismantled in the Civil War. We were able to imagine how it would have looked, as the replacement altarpiece is not as imposing.

The truncated tower of Sant Feliu is very distinctive on the Girona skyline, so you have to visit the basilica alongside the Cathedral and learn all about the legend of St. Narcissus and the flies!

The bell tower is supposed to have good views when you get to go up.
The area of the basilica is amazing and it is only a 5min walk from the cathedral.
Visit to basilica and cathedral are included in the same ticket.
