Very touristy, but probably more Spanish tourists than foreigners when we were there. We stopped in late in the afternoon, after visiting Figueres, and we wished we were able to spend more time there. Great architecture, great history. Nice sidewalk cafes, lots of small streets....More

The Judería is a really nice place to walk around with children. It's easy to imagine the brave knights of the past with their horses and swords. There are lots of areas to run and play.

The small winding streets and narrow alleys and roads is quintessential Girona. We had a amazing time exploring this area of town. Every turn holds another cool street with loads of cafes and shops. Can't miss this area when visiting.

Don't miss visiting this part of the old town. Try to visit in the daylight as the lighting is not strong enough to appreciate it after dark.
