    Clean, modern and quick!
Great! Very quick, very clean and no queuing. We enjoyed visiting the top of Tibidabo. Worth mentioning the station is around a 20 minute walk up hill. You can get busses up to the station but we chose to walk.

    Too expensive
I found the funicular very expensive. Other funiculars I’ve been on are far cheaper. Difficult to get to from thr metro station too. There was meant to be something between the metro and the funicular - some sort of train - but it wasn’t in operation that day. Apparently it’s only in operation during school holidays? I ended up taking a taxi from Av. Tibidabo up the mountain, the funicular back down, then a taxi from there as I was stuck. It would have been cheaper to get a taxi all the way from the top of the mountain to Av. Tibidabo. Lack of information about transportation makes a visit to Tibidabo very expensive.

    Great
Fun and scenic ride going to the top of mt. Tibidabo. From AV. Tibidabo metro, ride a bus going to the funicular station. If you have themepark tickets, the funicular ride is included already with that. I think the last trip going down is 815pm

Felt cheated with early shut down of service
The funicular to Tibidabo is well maintained and gets you to the amusement park and church with the viewpoint. However they sell you return tickets but don’t tell you that their service shuts off at 4:30 pm. We arrived 5 mins past 4:30 pm as we didn’t know and felt annoyed that this information wasn’t passed when buying the tickets. I thought it was pretty hefty €12 for one way.

We took the funicular to the top of Tibidabo so that we could enjoy the view and the lovely amusement park. We were coming from the childrens/natural history museum and it was a bit of a meandering walk to get to the start of the Funicular. We were able to get a seat in the lowest car which is a great spot from which to watch the city below you as you rise surprisingly quickly up the track. It was a run ride. The view from the church on top is amazing. Lots of snacks and drinks at the amusement park, even if you don't want to pay for a ride bracelet. We had a long wait for the return trip down and as a result the tram was packed and that was much less fun. Worth it for the views and the novelty. Clean and safe.

Really large funicular to take you up to the top of Tibidabo.. Modern and cool. Pity a number of the screens inside were broken .. Otherwise a great way to get up the top with great views on the way..

Timing was great. Inexpensive. Easy to get to. Right off bud route 26. Highly recommend for everyone. Do the gondola and the hike up to the top.

12 euros and you'll be up, gaining a nice trip and very nice views of the city
I came with the subway, then with a dedicated bus (using a normal subway ticket), then we took the funicular
the view from Tibidabo it worth the effort, and the best way to to up is that funicular; the other way is the car, as I saw
we went down with funicular, also, but we preferred to walk to the subway, the neighborhood is very nice

Thé ride is short and sweet, but a LONG walk up to the funicular station with the Tram currently out of service! Not much of a wait for departure and reasonable price.
