So, #MWC17, aka Mobile World Congress 2017. We came here as a group of six, after three of us had scouted the old town and identified this bar as definitely worth checking out. TripAdvisor reviews were also glowing, so why not? The place is small,...More

I have been to this bar a few times now. It's always lively and fun. They also do a mean Dirty Martini. The staff are friendly and old school, great cocktail makers and quick. Go.

We initially had issues splitting our bill 4 ways, but after we decided to go somewhere else, they were able to accommodate us. Food was good, but would just caution that compared to Canadian standards, they cook their meat a little more. So for example...More

Boadas has a great reputation, and rightly so. Located just off La Rambla it is quite a small bar. We were lucky to find it not too busy. Wew asked for a menu, to which they said they don't do menus. This implies you can...More

Great little cocktail bar at top of las ramblas. No menu but they make up any you ask. Cost 10euro each - seriously potent. Unlimited nuts included. Lots of locals there and great ambience.

Look for an unassuming wooden door off La ramblas, blink and you'd miss it! Lovely small bar, all wooden panels, its been there since the 1930's, and has a lovely atmosphere. They don't have a menu, which is brilliant, the bartenders are in a tux...More

I've never been one to drink cocktails, unless offered one at a party or an event, but as a friend recommended I tried this bar, I thought I would give it a try and pop in for one. The bar itself feels almost as though...More

Very professional bartender. Tiny, cosy, atmospheric cocktail bar. Very historic feeling. When we came in, I had a coughing fit and the bartender immediately produced a glass of water with ice and lime. His mixing technique for the vodka martini was theatrical. He also made...More

La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La
Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll
past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic

You won't get a cocktail class of the sort you're thinking of in Boadas. It's a proper old school bar and has changed very little over the years. No drinks menus, no food, just incredibly knowledgeable bar staff, (even if... More
