My boyfriend and I stopped in to this cocktail bar due to the great reviews on TripAdvisor. We enjoy trying different cocktails while on vacation and wanted to find an authentic place. I don't think it gets more authentic than this. The establishment is a...More

I'm not at all convinced about this place. Having tasted mojito all over the world this one scored a 1 to 2 out of 10. Clearly made from pre-mix. Having tasted mine I watched the barman make others and not once did they use the...More

"LOL, wut?!" is my only reaction to the ratings for this place. CLEARLY the people who have rated this place high have never had a good cocktail in their lives and have never been to a proper cocktail bar with real mixologist. First, this place...More

This place will transport you to another era all together with the low key and dim atmosphere, yet elegant and sophisticated. No surprise this is the oldest bar in Barcelona from the 1930s and it maintains that authentic vibe. There is no menu but the...More

Amazing cocktails in this old school bar. A gem just off the main busy Rambla. Classic cocktails made with meticulous care and attention to detail. After going there two times, the barmen knew our names and greeted us warmly! Highly recommended.

Being of Cuban descent I was told not to miss Boadas on my trip to Barcelona. It was great advice. Walking through the front door is like stepping back in time to the way bars used to be. It was recommended that we order Mojitos......More

This is my second year coming to Boadas and cannot imagine coming to Barcelona without a trip to this great cocktail bar. It's not very well advertised, but that's what makes it special. It's an old fashioned cocktail bar (doesn't look much from the outside)...More

We came here at a coworker's recommendation and just loved it. It's a hole in the wall place packed with locals. The bartenders wear nice suits and make fancy drinks with fancy moves. Not to be missed!

La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La
Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll
past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic

You won't get a cocktail class of the sort you're thinking of in Boadas. It's a proper old school bar and has changed very little over the years. No drinks menus, no food, just incredibly knowledgeable bar staff, (even if... More
