Very good show

Wonderful and passionate Flamengo. Only thing that I missed was a male dancer.....but they had a fantastic drummer instead.

Excellent entertainment. 70 minutes of riveting dancing, Principally by the man (who was wonderful) and not enough of the woman (who we thought was equally so). The only issue, and for us it is a big one, there is absolutely no need for amplification. The room is three rows deep an less than 20 seats wide. It is completely unnecessary... More

We went to the show this evening and it was truly amazing. The dancers were so energetic and passionate I almost cried a bunch of times. It's about an hour which is perfect and not over priced despite being quite central and the setting is amazing. If your thinking of going do iiiiiit!!!

We really enjoyed this energetic and passionate performance! The intimate and what appeared to be old venue added great atmosphere. At just under an hour with a short intermission to order more drinks the show was a perfect length. The troupe gave their all! We were relying on the electronic tickets on my mobile phone and had a mix-up with... More

we found this nice little venue for a rather cheaper & short (50mins) flamenco dance. but highly recommended. 25 euros for entry plus 1 free drink. the venue itself is situated in the Gothic district, where you feel like get caught in the middle of medieval age court life. the show was really breath-taking, literally. life enchant spanish live band... Judging from some of the reviews it seems to be quite hit and miss but my experience was definitely a hit; really passionate music and dancing with percussion on a special crate the percussionist sat on, which I had never seen before. This is really helped by the Victorian architecture which adds to the atmosphere. However, what the other reviews... More

The place itself is lovely and the music was fun. However, all in all, the show was terribly unprofessional. The female dancer was wonderful, skilled and passionate in traditional dress and dramatic style. The male dancer, in jarring contrast, seemed like a total amateur, dressed like a hipster and danced while grinning like a fool. There were many long and... More

We went to Espai Barroc in Aug 2015, it was a great show, my family loved it. This was my children's first flamenco dance show and an amazing experience. The dancers are totally professional and the venue has a great atmosphere with beautiful architecture.

This was the first flamenco show we saw during our trip to Spain, and it was definitely one of our favorites! We loved the small, intimate venue and the two dancers really gave me chills with how intense and passionate their performances were. It was amazing! The female singer was fantastic as well, really put everything into her performance.

I'm sure it was an off night for one of the crew, but show lasted about 40 minutes with the main dancer storming off stage mid show. She eventually came back for a final dance. No offer of refund or even an extra drink. Had great potential but the performance ruined it. Side note: hats off to the guitar player... More

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
