A large traffic round about and a hub for buses, metro and airport buses. A couple of hotels and a large shopping center “Arenas”. Other then this no reason to come hear. Very noisy.

We stayed at the B Hotel here which allowed excellent access to the magic fountain, the old Olympic site and the art gallery all located a short walk from Plaça Espanya. There are endless bars and restaurants nearby plus the airport buses stop here too!...More

Beautiful place to visit the only thing that we were a bit disappointed was that the lights weren’t used on a Wednesday because of the changes from summer to autumn 😞 pay attention to this detail when arriving on the of season.

The place gets very busy, especially during the evening / night. You should take the lift (1€) or stairs to get to the top of the shopping center for panoramic view. It's close to the metro and bus station.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
