The tapas in Bitacora are really good, the portions are nice and the price is also very interesting. Ask for the bravas and the ternera you will not be disappointed.

Got tip for the place from one of the locals on our trip to Barcelona. Except for the fact that Friday night was extremely busy and only one waiter, the overall experience was great. Good food, reasonable prices.. A definite place to go.

The tapas are good but the attitude from the waitress is unacceptable. She was rude we had to wait for ever to be served completely ignored us through the whole night worst experience absolutely ruined our night.

Great food, friendly atmosphere, cheap prices. I've been in Barcelona in 2016, and remembered this place because it was the best Tapas experience I had in Barcelona (and anywhere). I can back yesterday and it was great again.

Our hostel manager pointed us in the direction of this bar and we weren't disappointed! The tapas is great value - large portions for €2-€7 a dish - and it's really tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive which added to the overall chilled atmosphere...More

The food in this restaurant was excellent, the grilled Sea Bass I had was superb and my wife had the grilled Sea Bream also superb. The staff were very attentive and good fun well worth a visit.

I had a few beers here with some friends on a Sunday night. It was quiet and nice. Music wasn't too loud and perfect spot to hang out for the evening.

Located in Barceloneta, it looks like a fairly typical Barcelona Bar... but has much better tapas than you might expect from first impressions. It's not your (stereo)-typical tapas bar. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and serve you great tapas at reasonable prices, straight from...More

If you want a non tourist, no frills, decent tapas this is your place. The fish ceviche was very tasty and lovely fresh whitebait. The bread with tomato and oregano was rather soggy. It was very busy and full of Spanish people, always a good...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
