We enjoyed our bike tour, and the guide Dicken very good The problem was slower inexperienced bikers but we have had that before in Seville and Paris I think they should do 3 hours and no lunch stop It just slows the trip down Include water

When we met Adam(a Canadian), i was kinda bummed that we weren't getting a tour from a true local(born and bread in Barcelona). I couldn't have been more incorrect! Adam-who has lived in Barcelona for 10 plus years, was FULL of fun facts, history, and inside info! We had the most fun on our 1/2 day bike tour! He was... More

Having been on a fat tire bike tour in Berlin, I knew I had to experience Barcelona in the same way. Excellent programme. Thoroughly enjoyed. Our tour guide Ava was fantastic. Great energy. I will definitely booking again with them.

We enjoyed our bike tour with Jordon who was very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona. Covered a lot of Barcelona with an easy ride for most ability levels. Could have skipped the lunch stop--took too much time away from seeing Barcelona. Bikes are older but a comfortable ride on the excellent bike paths.

This was the second time that we have used Fat Tire bike tours (previously in Paris) and again it did not disappoint. We booked the day before and paid in advance. Our tour guide met us at the meeting point and made sure we were all comfortable on our bikes. Adam made sure that we were safe and having fun... More

We did this bike tour on our first day in Barcelona and it's a great way to get a feel for the city and things you want to come back and see more of later. Adam is amazing and kept things interesting and fun. He was super cool to my 7 year old and made him feel like a big... More

First time in Barcelona so did the obligatory fat tire bike tour with Adam. He is a larger than life Canadian who did well to enthuse our group with local facts and some history of the monuments and landmarks. The bikes were in good condition and fairly comfortable. Don't be worried if you are unfit as it was a very... More

brilliant way to get to know your way around, and learn a little along the way. Our guide, Dickon, was full of facts about Barcelona, and its history, and despite the imminent rain kept us to a brisk but not exhausting pace. can't recommend this enough.

We all really enjoyed our tour on a lovely sunny February day. We would have given full mark's if the bikes had been a bit cleaner and better maintained. Our guide was great with some good facts. We all learnt a lot and she managed to herd us round the city without mishap. Ideally the group could have been smaller... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
