This is a nice place to walk around and maybe have a coffee. it was a shame about the illegal sellers of football tops/hats/novelties etc. There are too many of them, constantly being chased by the police.

Such a fun after dinner activity. Get a good spot by the fountain about 8:30pm and be prepared to get a little wet! Great for all ages but the kids especially loved it, I loved the 80s and 90s music selection...Fun night out.

Only on Fridays and Saturdays during the winter - it is free and well worth making the effort to go and see it...eat before you go - the only places nearby are kiosks selling crusty overcooked pizza and churros...

It was a nice experience. Don’t go to Las Vegas. This is the European musical fountain that will impress you!

My favorite place in Barcelona, but realize that the fountain only runs for certain hours. Arrive early, an hour, for the evening show if you want either a sitting place, or front row view. It lasts an hour, so people start to leave after 1/2...More

Only on at the weekends during the autumn/winter season. We loved this show which we saw last Saturday at 9:00 pm, check on the day for times as the guide book quoted 7pm to 9pm, in fact it went on from 9 to 10. It...More

We were staying that side of the city so it was only a 20minute walk. Surprised how busy it was, at least a thousand people but still space to see. The display is not on everything day so check out the timings. The fountains are...More

Great way to spend an hour at night. Arrive early to get a seat on the steps or just stand next to the fountain.

During the high season, there is a half hour lights and music show at 9 and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. It is definitely worth seeing and isn't far from the Placa de Espanya and various modes of public transportation. The turnout...More

It is great to see and we enjoyed it. But saying that, when I saw it last time, it was with classic music which to me fits the fountain and area much better. But still beautiful and not to be missed. It is free to...More

The music and lights are an evening event due to them being more effective once the sun sets. The fountains run day and night but they only have the above (lights etc) from 9pm.

Hi. I never did find a website that listed the official times. I took a photo of the sign at the fountain and posted those times here on Tripadvisor. There are other sites in the area worth seeing during the day. I'd suggest... More
