The Boadas family opened a second bar in the ’70s, just up the street. Called the Caribbean Club, it was designed to look like the bar of a sailboat anchored in Havana’s harbor. A Boadas alumnus, Juanjo Gonzalez, bought Caribbean Club a couple of...more

A place where you will never leave disappointed. A little gem 2 steps away from the vibrat Rambla. The ingenious design of a wooden sailing boat hides inside countless brands of rum, and a bartending style of other times. JuanCo is gonna take care of...More

Who knew such a gem could be so close to the tourist monstrosity of La Rambla? This is a teeny tiny little bar behind a simple wooden door with a very small name plaque. Blink and you'll miss it, but my wife and I found...More

We first visited the Caribbean Club because we had googled Rum bar. It is difficult to find as it appears to share the same number as the next door venue but look closely. It is a small wooden door to the left of what appears...More

We tried to enter this bar tonight and we're met with- 'Catalans only' We were denied entry and service on this basis alone. Avoid if you are not a Catalan.....or even if you are!

Really great cocktails made the traditional way. The setting is cool and slightly dated and jazzy in a nice way. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm but fun. Did I say awesome cocktails!!

Great place for drinks. This tiny place has a variety of high quality drinks which will make any connoisseur's mouthy water. Highly recomendable. Oh, and the people running it are great too.

authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
