Great fish restaurant - have visited it many times and find it to be consistently good. Paellas well worth trying as well as the suquet.

Barcelona in the evening may be the most lively here at the beach. I personally enjoyed sitting idly watching people relaxing. Bring some cloth (or the likes) if you want to sit on the beach though.

What a pleasant walk along the harbourfront. Interesting architecture and many sculptures, expensive yachts and a bridge that didn’t swing or raise but was drawn back into itself. Ingenious engineering. Well worth a trip down by the metro, a wander around and then finish of...More

This whole area has yachts, open spaces, beach and boardwalk, bars and street sellers. Great to wander around in the sun, go to the beach, look at the huge yachts and have a drink or some tapas.

It was very surreal to walk around the city one day, go to the mountains the next and then visit the beach on my final day. It was still 18 degrees in the middle of December and made the lovely walk along the promenade even...More

This is the original port of the city. Too many things to list, but loads of restaurants, sea views and aerial access to the fort. Boat tours available as well. You could spend several hours here.

It’s really hard to get good customer service in Spain, the waiter was fantastic. I wanted just a cup of coffee and he did not push me to get anything else from the menu. I felt so welcome, he New most of the customers by...More
