We came through this park on segways & were impressed by the space, the ponds & statues. The park is central & would be great for picnics, exercising or a stroll. Close to the Arc de Triomphe and Barceloneta I would recommend seeing this if your schedule permits

Lovely park to wander through. Some interesting architecture on buildings, a few sculptures scattered around park. Nice little market stalls on entering area, selling local produce such as bread, cheese, nougat. Some interesting shaped trees. The water feature is a must to look around, beautiful and very ornate

Seems like many tourists miss this place and only focus on works of Gaudi. Lovely place to take a walk or have a picnic in. It also has a zoo but didn't visit.

One of the few places in Barcelona where there's grass, lots of it, and what's more you can actually walk on it! This is a beautiful park with lots of areas to explore, nice places to sit, a boating lake and an absolutely incredible fountain. The park is fantastically located right next to the gothic quarter, near the Arc de... More

We came across this park on Christmas Eve, and again on Christmas Day - both days when families and couples were strolling around the beautiful grounds in the glorious sushine. The fountain here is indescribably pretty - you have to visit it to appreciate it. It's not an overly large park, so it's not too much of a strain to... More

What a fantastic park, right in the middle of Barcelona. It was absolutely beautiful, fab gardens and fountains. A fantastic find! And well worth a visit.

I went to the park to see the fountain, and it was well worth the walk. There seemed to be a lot going on in the park for people of all ages. There was also a zoo adjacent to the park, but I did not go in.

After you come out of the closed spaces of the Gothic Quarter, the City Park is a nice change. It's mostly good for a walk around in and people watching.

Enjoyed a warm January day in the parc. Lots to see and very relaxed to have a picknick here. The fountain was a nice bonus, didn't see this before.

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighbourhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
