Great little gem right in the heart of the gothic quarter. Worth the little stroll and taking a (free) peek inside.

This Basilica isn't as famous or as well known as Sagrada Familia or the Cathedral. It's free and well worth a visit. They haven't renovated this one as much and you can see holes in the ceiling and it's not a pristine as others. The...More

Beautiful cathedral build by the people fir the people. Gaudy’s favorite. Can see the inspiration for the key elements of Sagrada Familia.

This is a great stop on our visit. We visit Cathedrals every city we go to. This was a highlight on our trip. We enjoyed this more than the Sagrada.

I saw this before I read "Cathedral by the Sea" and wish I had done it the other way around. It is a beautiful cathedral and knowing more about the history of it makes me want to go back.

Finished in 1379. In a fantastic atmospheric quarter of Barcelona. Best example of Catalan Gothic much better than Cathedral last Sue and no crowds. Not to be missed.

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

It is not necessary to book your tickets for the roof top visit. But you can buy the tickets at the basilica in advance and be there at the start of the tour.
