Located in Gràcia district, Cines Verdi have been different movie theatres for more than 30 years. Why are they different? Besides their privileged neighborhood, Cines Verdi offer a nine-screen cinema where there is always a good choice of quality...more
This cinema showing all original language (VO) films is of course great for those of us who sadly can't speak much Spanish or Catalan. It's in the very nice Gracia nighbourhood, take the metro to Fontana, go immediately left and walk though to Verdi Street....More
The Verdi cinemas are known for having been offering V.O. films for a long time. It's a very interesting place to go watch a film, it's usually packed with hipsters who give the cinema an intellectual look.

Films should be always shown in the original state. Verdi has an excellent choice and pls. do not forget that just on the other side in Calle Torijos is the other entrance! I can highly recommend it for everybody who likes movies.
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the
vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
