I should start off by declaring that i work in the informal learning sector and have visited a lot of science centres and museums, so trust me when i say this place is really something special in a lot of ways. They have so many fun, interactive hands on exhibits - many of which i'd never encountered anywhere else before.... More

CosmoCaixa, the science museum of Barcelona, is one of the best science museums I've been to, up to par with the Natural History Museum in London. The museum has an indoor tropical forest where you can look under the water, a great big tropical tree suspended into the air, and a great room with lots of air to breathe, and... More

This is a wonderful Science museum with all the usual things you would expect to see in a science museum- electricity, stars etc. There is ends. The best exhibit is an enclosed area in which they have re- created the Amazon rainforest. There are fish to see underwater and birds to see flying around or in the undergrowth. It even... More

This is as if the Science Museum, Natural History and London Zoo where thrown all into one and all the boring bits where thrown out. We initially only planned to stay for 2 hours and continued their for another 4, until the Museum closed (8pm). This is great for anyone of any age, from seeing the fantastic physics experiments, the... More

This is the most interesting place I've been during the year. First we went in a salon where children had an excursion and could touch all the animals that where presented. Then we went out , they have a yard with table so you can have a picknick as we did. We brought our food and drinks. It was one... More

We bought tickets directly at the museum (it is only 4 EUR) and as we were there at 10, there was no queue at all. Spent there around 4 hours, and we could spend even more :) at 13PM there was a 3D movie at the planetarium about the history of aviation, which we also saw - it was made... More

If you buy a Barcelona Card entry to this is free. We bought one on arrival in the city and used it extensively for travel & attraction entry. The museum is not in the centre of Barcelona, but that should not deter you from going to it. We visited it on the same day we went to Tibidabo, as they... More
