I've been coming here since 2011. It's always been a very cool gathering place for the cool kids and eclectic adults. Just a few minutes walk off La Rambla and once inside you will forget you are in Catalonia. At first glance I thought all the pictures along the walls were of Elizabeth Taylor, but after further research I found... More

We would never have found this bar were it not for our abode being down the street as it is on a quiet street, and we decided to stop in instead of ending our night. We could not have been happier with that decision as this is a great place from the super friendly and helpful staff, to the very... More

We were there in couple and we spent a nice moment. The place is simple, small and not super clean but the stuff was nice and the shisha was good.

This place is a hidden gem. If you're a fan of shisha and Moroccan mint tea, this is a great little bar to visit. The interior is fascinating as well as the walls are literally covered in old photographs and posters of the Spanish actress Sara Montiel. I'll definitely be going back here when I'm next in Barcelona.

I love this bar. I visited in 2010 as a solo traveller and loved this bar, shisha, mojito's, friendly, and a weird love of an old actress. I returned with my gf this time, she agreed, amazing mojito, friendly... Etc. Worth a visit. Back street bar, not too far from safety :)

This is one of my favorite night spots in town (great to go between 22:00-03:00). The place itself is a Jewel of "El Raval " neighborhood. It is a living museum dedicated to former Spanish actress Sara Montiel. You will be able to enjoy the flavor of a Shisha (moroccan pipe), having a cocktail or tea while listening to arab,... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
