Barcelonina a private guided tours concept. I propose a quality service at a competitive price. I am a Journalist and Fully Licensed Guide and I have always worked in customer care. Showing Barcelona is a real pleasure for me, because I speak about my favorite topic: my city.I've created different tours to be done in about four hours and since it is a private tourist guide, you are going to be the only group with the guide. It is going to be done at your own pace, answering your questions, giving you the information you need (transports, restaurants...) and all in a friendly atmosphere.Since I am a fully licensed guide, we can take the fast track entrance to the main attraction. This way, we do not waste time!Discover Barcelona with a private tourist guide. You are going to be amazed!

We travel to Europe a lot and generally use Rick Steve's guide books to "self tour", although we have also used private guides as well. After touring Spain and Portugal for 2-1/2 weeks, our last stop was Barcelona and we were exhausted. Since "self touring" requires a great deal of concentration and can be stressful, we decided to opt for... More

Our tour guide Maica was truly exceptional. A Barcelona native and private Spanish teacher she offers both an educator's experience in building knowledge, and a local's insight on history, architecture, customs, and culinary specialties. I booked this full day 8 hour tour of Barcelona for the day after we arrived. I admit that both my wife and I were concerned... More

My husband and I spent all day with Anna of Barcelonina touring the Sagrada Familia and all the interesting parts of Barcelona. She was charming and spoke great English. Her vast knowledge really made the city come alive. She did an incredible job taking us through the Sagarada Familia. She also gave us great recommendations for the rest of our... More

We had a wonderful tour of Sagrada Familia with Anna Juarez Carrasco, of Barcelonina. She responded promptly to all of my emails, confirmed the tour the previous day, met us at our hotel, and taught us a lot about Gaudi, the architecture, etc. Anna is very knowledgeable and pleasant, and I highly recommend her as a guide. (I suggest taking... More

Anna Juarez Carrasco, guide and founder of Barcelonina, is a gem. Knowledgeable about Barcelona, it's history and gastronomic delights, she was a pleasure to tour the city with. She organised a private cooking tour with Alfredo which was lots of fun to do with my two teenage daughters. Highly recommended.

Anna was great. We toured with 2 adults and a 13 year old. She answered every question, gave a great overview and knew everything about the cathedral. Her english is excellent and she made learning fun. I would highly recommend to everyone for her vast knowledge of Barcelona and the cathedral.

Our tour, just the two of us, my wife and I, was one of our real highlights from Barcelona. Anna, has a wealth of knowledge, she is personable and charming, and we would heartily recommend a tour with her to everyone who loves culture, art, history, architecture and the life of this great city.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
