On a gourmet safari in Spain I popped into this Galeria. Good for window shopping or just plain shopping after visiting Basilica La Sagrada Familia one of Antonio Gaudi's marvellous buildings. Not your usual department store here, but you can find unusual gifts and souvenirs! Dr. Michael Lim The Travelling Gourmet is a celebrated Travel, Food and Wine Writer/Editor.

Crazy, beautiful, erotic shop full of completely unique items and some rather scary bits! I won't spoil it for you! Each display is more bizarre than the last. Not a place to take kids. Don't miss the perfume bit on the ground floor also.

This is an amazing jewelry and art gallery. You can spend two hours just looking at all the items on display.

If you want to find something unusual and beautiful this is the place to go. The service was great. I bought the beautiful ring and loved their perfumes.

I will not waste many words and descriptions as to what to expect visiting this crazy boutique aka gallery. Two words (for any person on Earth): Go there.

It was somewhat shocking but fun, we were enjoying the items, the smells and the people around us. Nice gallery, I recommend to visit it.

What a selection of unique and original jewelry! There is more selection than you can ever imagine, especially if you want something different. Even if you're not looking to buy, this store is eye-candy for all and an experience by itself! The staff is most helpful and kind.

I wanted to purchase a unique piece of jewelry while in Barcelona. I searched online and found La Basilica Galeria and hailed a cab and found my way to this great and eclectic shop. There were 100's of items in various categories in which to chose. Leather jewelry, paper jewelry, fairy themed jewelry, flower themed jewelry and so on. I... More

This place has of the most unique, striking and creative jewelry (wearable art!) I've seen. It is both beautiful and creepy. It's in the Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) and it's definitely got a gothic feel to it (but not historical gothic... rather dark gothic). My wife and I stop by here every time we are in Barcelona.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
