The Aquarium is at the heart of everything in Barcelona with easy access and very good parking. The great thing is that it is not overwhelmingly big but big enough to keep kids entertained for a couple of hours. It's well maintained and very attractively laid out. You can also go a couple of times as there is enough to... More

I was so sad to visit here and find the tanks to be so small for the size of fish. The only larger tanks, were those housing the sharks. A lobster, for example - is kept in a tank only 1.5x it's size. Penguins....were kept in a very small enclosure with no space to run around and NO access to... More

Advertised as the best aquarium in Europe I was very disappointed with the collection. What was on show was interesting and on the whole well presented but there are definitely better collections else where. I was concerned with the penguins who in effect were in just a large tank with no outside space, fresh air or enough water to swim... More

We visited with our toddler. It was quite an enjoyable experience, however I think the entry price is relatively high for the time that we spent here. The moving platform that goes around the main tank was great.

Was here with my niece and was slightly disappointed. I have been to many aquariums around the globe as it is one of my favourite things to do. The variety of sea life is wonderful, staff are friendly and the disabled access is second to none. I have given it 3stars because the layout is very strange indeed, the tanks... More

It's a good attraction if you have kids, but the building is more than 20 years old and it feels like. I enjoyed the tube under the water and the fact that it was close by.

Myself and a friend visited the aquarium whilst on holiday in Barcelona. We spent a very enjoyable few hours, looking at a vast array of marine life, sharks, penguins and my favourite the octopuses. We loved every minute of our time here and would highly recommend a visit if you get chance. Isabella Elwin.

If you have a couple of hours to spend in Barcelona, go to the aquarium, you will not regret it. Very clean and well organized structure. The tunnel is awesome. Watch the sharks and the rays swimming over you head. Fantastic! The only part which I did not like is the one for the penguins. This is sad.

Visited with my daughter and seven year old grandson. He absolutely loved it. Completely understand that some people were upset by the size of some of the tanks but it's pretty much the same wherever you go so expected. Moving floor with sharks and rays swimming above you was actually amazing. The children's area excellent if you have children in... More
