Disappointed, because the customer service was not the best and the drinks were standard. Ambience was ok with jazz music but it’s quite small and when it’s full it feels a bit uncomfortable, i would not call it the must have experience.More

We visited Bitter when exploring Barcelona on a very hot evening last week. We were originally attracted by how beautifully designed the bar itself is, very industrial-chic accompanied by an inviting, cool vibe.
We were welcomed by Nacho who owns the bar, he really made...More
I went to Bitter with friends as our fist stop after dinner and prep for clubbing 😁
There were great drinks and great service. I don't drink alcohol unlike my friends but they said their drinks were great and they accommodated me!
They have a mezcalita on the list - a cucumber/mezcal drink that is so refreshingly well balanced it may haunt my memory from now on every time I'm on the beach. The space is dark and comfortable - the back room has a lovely couch...More
Me and my girlfriend went after food close by and our experience was great. Upon entering we had a warm welcome from Nacho, the owner, who presented us with loads of cocktail options and speaks brilliant English. We were lucky to sit at the front...More

We found this place for drinks and weren’t disappointed.
Staff were really nice and spoke good English to help us choose a drink.
All drinks were nice and we wish we had gone more often during our stay!
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
