We celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary in Barcelona and had no reservations for dinner on the actual date. We decided last minute to do a cooking class, but of course every group we called was booked for the evening. Enter Chef Josh from Barcelona Paella...More
We were so happy with our cooking class with Josh. Despite our mistake of going to another market for the market tour, he came to us and gave us an understanding of the types of foods sold at the market. We even sampled some olives...More
This was a fantastic experience for our entire family. My husband, myself and 2 kids 6 and 8 enjoyed meeting Josh at the market and understanding more about the vendors and what they bring to the market.

We had the most amazing time with Chef Andres! The market tour at Mercat del Ninot was very informative; teaching us how to shop for our ingredients! The class was very interactive and the food was delicious! Definitely going to try the recipes back home!

Barcelona was amazing and we, as a family wanted to do something special together. Making a family meal from scratch was a great bonding experience and Chef Josh was brilliant. He explained all about the history of paella, how different regions in Spain have their...More
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
