Old cathedral of the city, located just next to the current one in a beautiful complex. It worths a visit, even if only outside for walking around,

The Church of Santa Maria la Antigua is located near the Cathedral and its facade is very impressive, with a very tall tower. However one needs to know that the church is open only when there are masses. It is open at 9:30h and 19:30h.

When I lived in Valladolid, this was the church where I attended mass most frequently. Its tower is Romanesque in construction, being older than the church itself which shows Gothic influence. It's the oldest church in Valladolid (12th century) which is why it has the...More

Beautiful church and so peaceful. Really restful just walking around and taking in the wonder of the church.

Although we didn't go inside, we still managed to appreciate from the outside! Even though it's a smaller church compared to what we have seen before, it still is worth to stop by and take a good luck at it!

Although this small church can't compete with the much more imposing cathedral, it still is a gem to be admired.

Went to Valladolid for a wedding in this beautiful church. It is a parish church next to the main cathedral but it was built in the 13th century and we would call it a cathedral , also, because it is huge. Very beautiful stained glass...More

Situated just behind Valladolid Cathedral, this pretty little church catches your eye with a nice path and small park area as you walk towards it. Parts of the building date back to the 12th century and the prominent bell tower fits well with the architecture...More

Some reviewers are incorrectly stating that this is an early Gothic church. It is not: it is a late Romanic, with simple, elegant, beautiful lines. If you like to draw, this is the perfect church for you. There are many cafes where you can sit...More

The church is impressive, with a great tower structure but it's the plaza area that is really nice, with a pleasant park, shops and cafes and around the back is the Valladollid Cathedral.
