It's a very imposing building with an interesting equestrian statue in front of it suitable for a cavalry school.

Beautiful building in the centre of the city and home to the cavalry. There was an exhibition on while we visited and it was well worth the time. I learned a huge amount and the troops were very helpful and friendly - one going so far as to salute me on entry. Extremely informative.

Valladolid, Spain is an impressive and monumental city. This is one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in Europe. Beautiful architecture and amazing fountains. It has the potential to be a major tourist attraction if is open to the public.

The facade of the Academia de Caballeria is very impressive and it is a very large building that is best seen from across the street. The building is quite close to downtown and one can easily walk to it.

Although we were not able to go in, I have heard that on special days or with the escort of an official it is possible to see the inside. We were also told that the inside is not as impressive as the outside. This is right at the end of the main Paseo and right by the bus stop we used almost every day. It was fun to just sit and marvel at the splendid architecture.

I visited the local area - passing through from Campo Grande in Feb 2016. The academy itself is a military academy so likely they often won't open to the public but you can get some amazing photos closeby, starting from around the local water features towards the building. Architecture is amazing and is worth a 10 minute pit stop to admire the building and take a few photos. Not a must see but something worthwhile briefly stopping for in between sights.

This is an active military building. That means that the inside cannot be visited by tourists but the outside and the environment are very good.

Due to the fiesta of the Virgin going on when I was there I was not able to go inside to see everything, but it is truly impressive to look at, as it is the Headquarters of the Spanish Cavalry. It sits across from the city part and the statue of Zorilla, both of which should also be visited
