Very nice palace and easy to combine with a trip to Segovia (20' bus). Wander in the Versaille-replica parks and feel how king Filip was living back then in this relaxating and beautiful scenery. The park is free and filled with fountains, in our case...More

This review is of the gardens only. While there is a charge for the entrance to the palace itself, entrance to the gardens is free at most times. When we were there, there were quite a few people visiting, but the gardens are large enough...More

Everything's relative. Compared to most of palaces I've seen this was ok, not spectacular. Admittedly, the entire downstairs was like a museum and it was pretty good. Perhaps, my review reflects the fact that we had seen the Royal Palace and the magnificent Casa del...More

This eighteenth century Palace and Gardens are amazing and used by King Phillipe V well worth a visit. The magnificent fountains in the extensive gardens are splendorous.

We were a bit disappointed with the Palacio. A very poor imitation of Versailles which I believe it was supposed to be. The gardens are better, but more especially when the fountains are going to be turned on. Its worth checking, and worth going if...More

Enjoyed the visit and it's not expensive. Audio guides in your language are available for 3€ and worthwhile. This was a beautiful palace in a lovely setting but it's a shame that they can't show a little more about how they lived in those days...More

It’s not a very touristic place but it’s really a beautiful palace. I recommend it 100%, besides San Idelfonso is a very beautiful town.

This castle really deserves the nick name little Versailles. Very beautiful and full of history. The garden is fantastic. There is also a big labyrinth that is fun for kids although less enjoyable by adults since it is not well maintained. Free entrance to the...More
